Shopify Logo Maker

Shopify Logo Maker is a free tool that builds a custom logo from your brand name. Shopify used to offer it under the name Hatchful, and the old Hatchful address now redirects to this page. You type your name, pick a design you like, and adjust it in a simple editor. When you finish, you download a pack of ready-to-use files. There is no cost, no watermark, and no design skill needed, so new businesses can get a logo in minutes.

Key Features

Totally Free Logos

The logo maker costs nothing to use. You can design, edit, and download your logo without paying or adding a credit card.

Starts With Your Brand Name

You begin by typing your business name. The tool then builds logo options around it, so every design already carries your name.

Simple Built-In Editor

Pick a design and adjust it in the editor. You can change colors and preview each version before you settle on a final logo.

Full Download Pack

The download is a pack, not a single file. It includes high-resolution PNG files, a transparent version, a favicon, and images sized for social media.

Ready for Business Use

You can use the finished logo on your store, social media, business cards, and profile pictures. Shopify allows commercial use of the logos you make.

More Free Branding Tools

Shopify offers more free tools on the same site. They include a business name generator, a slogan maker, and a domain name generator.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Shopify Logo Maker really free?

Yes. Designing, editing, and downloading a logo costs nothing, and there is no paid plan for this tool. You may need a free Shopify account or an email address to download your files.

What was Hatchful?

Hatchful was the old name of Shopify's logo maker. The old hatchful.shopify.com address now redirects to shopify.com/tools/logo-maker, where the same tool lives under the Shopify Logo Maker name.

What files do I get when I download my logo?

You get a pack of files: high-resolution PNG logos, a transparent version, a favicon, and images already sized for social media profiles. The pack does not include vector files like SVG.

Can I use the logo for my business?

Yes. Shopify allows commercial use, so you can put your logo on your store, packaging, business cards, and social media profiles.

Do I need a Shopify store to use the logo maker?

No. The logo maker runs in your browser on Shopify's tools site, and anyone can use it. You never need a store account just to design a logo.

Conclusion

Shopify Logo Maker gives a new business a real logo for free. The old Hatchful name is gone, but the tool keeps the same simple idea: type your name, pick a design, and download the pack. For most new brands, that free start is all they need on day one. Everything happens in your browser, with nothing to install.
